Synopsis
Joaqu��n
(Alfredo Landa) comes back to Granada in the eighties trying
to find out about something happened when he was a child
and the Spanish Civil War was going on. He helped an unknown
man who survived after being executed. He finds the man,
Gal��pago (Nino Manfredi), who is now quite old, poor and
with almost no memory. Joaqu��n takes care of him and finds
hints that point to Gal��pago as Federico Garc��a Lorca. Written

In
August 1936, as the Spanish Civil War starts, Joaquin, a young goatherd
who lives alone in the countryside, comes across a man who has been
badly wounded by a gun shot to the side of the head: the man has been
left for dead after an execution by Franco��s troops. Joaquin hides
and cures the man who wakes up an amnesiac - having forgotten his
own identity. Much later, in 1980, the goatherd crosses the man��s
path again: now he is an old man who goes along the streets of Granada
delivering charity..
By pure chance his memory is revived and Joaquin gradually discovers
that - in all probability - the man is the poet Federico Garc��a Lorca.
